Julien’s intention is to create connection, awareness and empowerment, holding space for others to experience their own physical, mental or spiritual evolution.  With her private clients she focuses on developing physical strength and intuitive body awareness – creating a safe container for clients to observe and experience themselves holistically. She has experience working privately with clients at all life stages managing spinal injuries and strain, hamstring, knee and hip injuries and shoulder instability as well as mental and emotional challenges due to depression, extreme anxiety, stress and trauma.

As a holistic wellness + lifestyle coach, yoga instructor writer, and whole foods cook she believes you won’t know how good you can feel until you start to feel better. Yoga and food has been an avenue for her own path of healing and she is honored to share her gifts with others.

April began her yoga practice in 2008 as a preparation for surf camp in Costa Rica and completely fell in love with yoga. After 7 years as a campus recruiter for the financial industry, April attended NYU and earned an MA in School Counseling. While interning at a high school, April taught yoga to kids which inspired her vision to combine yoga and counseling as a holistic program for low-income youth.

In 2013, April attended the Jivamukti Teacher Training at Omega Institute. She completed her 800-hour apprenticeship with her mentor Gayatri in 2014. In addition to her 800-hour Jivamukti Certification, she is has also completed the Karma Kids Yoga Teacher Training (2011), Yoga in the Classroom training (2010), and Aerial Mukti Teacher training (2014).April is also a vegan chef, and founder of Cookie Devi, a vegan and gluten-free cookie company.

She has a playful approach to her teaching and loves to create a unique session combining a dance of devotion, a challenging vinyasa flow with cool beats, hands on assists, breathing exercises and meditation. Alison’s yoga journey began with a regular Bikhram practice to survive cold five winters in London. After lengthy flirtations with Ashtanga in Sydney and Power Yoga in Los Angeles, she completed her teacher training at Semperviva Yoga in Vancouver. Alison believes in the tradition of yoga as a lifestyle and the importance of incorporating asana, pranayama and yogic philosophy into daily life. Her sessions involve Hatha-Vinyasa yoga, focusing on the importance of incorporating breath and meditation into the physical practice. Alison believes strongly in a sense of play in her practice, so be prepared to sweat, laugh and move freely with her.

Followed by a balance of cooling and restorative poses.

Yoga is the art of healing, my goal is to guide through the process one breathe at a time. By immersing myself in the culture where Yoga was born, I enhanced my teaching, personal practice and my understanding of Yoga as more than just its physical practice.

Yoga trainings and the knowledge gained through my travels helped me customize sessions to my clients with specific goals in mind and abilities so one can gain the utmost out of her Yoga sessions. Ivorie tailors each session specific to her clients needs allowing them to progress continually while creating vibrant health, reduced stress and clarity of mind.

This internationally renowned system of integral yoga focuses on using ancient tools to harmonize the mind, body, and emotions. Hilary strives to meet her clients where they are, providing accessible yoga practices designed to increase breath and body awareness, focused breath work, as well as meditation or deep relaxation. Hilary’s teaching goal is to help people become more grounded, confident and relaxed in their bodies and minds.

Jill is a Yoga Therapist and a 500 E­RYT Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching yoga for 8 years and has over 1000 hours of training. She mainly works privately with clients to rehabilitate injuries and reduce pain. She has experience with many injuries but specializes in shoulder rehabilitation. She not only rehabs the injured area but also combines release work and strengthening work to bring blind areas back in harmony with the system to prevent future injuries. Once the client is ready she eases them back into a regular yoga routine with emphasis on alignment and muscle balance and re­trains their bodies to approach poses with more ease and less struggle. She truly enjoys her work and her passion comes through in each session as she guides her clients to their body’s potential.

Originally from Milan, Italy, Lulu has studied and practiced in a variety of styles, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini, Restorative and Bhakti Yoga. Over the past 8 years, Lulu has been teaching Yoga to the blind at the Braille Institute of Los Angeles where, as a volunteer, she has specifically developed a course devoted to the visually impaired.

Her yoga teaching blends Hatha with Kundalini and Bhakti, in a session that incorporates asanas, deep breathing, chanting and meditation. For the cross training students, her wider interest in fitness brought her to develop her own fitness technique which integrates yoga, core work and resistance band training.
